Gender Identity Disorder

Gender Identity is one’s perception of oneself as male or female. A person with identity disorder believes he or she was born with wrong sex’s genitals and is fundamentally a person of the opposite sex. Gender Identity disorder in adulthood is also referred to as transsexualism. Some transsexuals undergo sex change operations and hormonal treatments.
